A day in the tropical forests of Mexico | Peurto Vallarta

Skimming over the trees at a speed of 100 kmph is a feeling that might almost make one feel like a bird. One such experience awaits in the tropical forest close to Peurto Vallarta. The day begins with an hour long drive taking you deep into the lush green forests. You are quickly loaded with safety harnesses and the guides go over the safety instructions. Before you realize you are on the edge of the zipline ready to take off . You get to try one zipline after the other. Your adrenaline will be pumping as each progressive cable takes you on higher and longer rides. You can go upside down, sideways or any other imaginable way. If you are still left with any energy after the zipathon, you can choose to climb a series of tremulous steps, walk on the narrow rope bridge and then come down rappelling.

The grand finale, the Superman zipline awaits to challenge you further. This one is featured on “the amazing race” for a plausible reason. Its the longest and fastest zipline and gets your heart pounding. You will be intimidated by the person ahead of you who just went down screeching hysterically. But once you are all harnessed and launched by the crew, you are enticed by the stunning tree canopy. Zooming over the emerald forest will surely make for a memorable ride. The other end which seemed too far off when you started is fast approaching and by the end you are left hankering for more. You can then take a water ride to cool off and refresh yourself to mark the end of an exhilarating day.
